GENSEC DEPARTMENT LEADERSHIP
PERSONNEL PHOTOGRAPH // S66
General Security Department personnel record for Sergant Major Zann Miller. This file contains identifying information, service history, physical records, personal connections, and psychological evaluations.
Growing up in Garrow, Zann had a moderate childhood even if his father wasn’t there most of the time. There were never any problems between his father and mother, but when asked, his mother would never say where his father went. As soon as he turned 18, he left Scotland pursuing life in the U.S.
He landed in S.C., finding it similar to his home in Scotland, though a bit warmer than he’d like. He did odd jobs, never staying at one long enough for anyone to remember him; he preferred it that way, finding it easier to up and leave when he wanted without much holding him back.
On one of his trips through S.C, he came across a little shop situated in a rather bleak and abandoned town. He went in, unknowing it was SCP-100. Upon entering, he conversed as best he could with SCP-100-1, essentially bargaining with the Automaton, seeming not concerned about it being a sentient robot. In the end, he had a custom 44. Colt Action Navy Revolver made and for cheap too, with the metals being rather refined.
As he left he was swiftly kidnapped by the nearby Foundation who questioned him heavily like “What did you say to SCP-100-1?” or “Did the gun SCP-100-1 Manufacture do anything on it’s own?” with each answer making the scientist more and more curious as SCP-100-1 Had never made Weaponry for as long as he had been monitored nor did he give away such valuable metal for so cheap.
Soon enough, Zann was allowed to leave if he wished or come work for the Foundation if he wished, of which he took the latter. He worked, bouncing between facilities till he came across Site-66, where something captivated him into staying, though he could never explain why. When he was put to work within the foundation, they did give him back his gun, as numerous studies and testing found the weapon was just that: a weapon. He rarely used it, keeping it more as a memento for how his new life started.
